Summary
of Our Last Meeting:
- Roger Baker presided over the
meeting. The group met and presented reviews of recently read
Civil War books. Books on the battles of Perryville and Shiloh, and
biographies of Generals Harney, Blair, McClernard, and the bushwacker/outlaw
Jesse James, among others were reviewed. Everyone profited from the
reviews and discovered some new books that deserve reading.
